Physical Properties
Product Description
Kaolin is extensively used in the paper and coatings industries due to its brightness, opacity, and
smoothness. In paper production, it acts as a filler and coating pigment, enhancing the paper's gloss,
smoothness, and printability. In paints and coatings, kaolin improves opacity and reduces cost by acting
as an extender, allowing for less use of expensive pigments. Its ability to provide a smooth, uniform
surface also contributes to better durability and water resistance in coatings, making it suitable for
interior and exterior paints.
HA-90T is a high brightness, fine particle size, reasonable particle size distribution and small screen
residue calcined kaolin. It has low conductivity, low impurity content, low grind fineness, good
dispersion stability, good suspension property and chemical stability. It can improve the sedimentary
stability and longer service life of the electrocoat bath in electrophoretic paint. It also can improve
salt spray resistance, smoothness, compactness and homogeneity of the film.
