General Info
Physical Form
White fine powder
Chemical Name
Anhydrous aluminum silicate
Physical Properties
Product Description
Using high-quality coal-series kaolin as raw material, it has the characteristics of high whiteness, low
iron and titanium content, low oil absorption, easy dispersion, covering, rheology, etc. by ball milling,
calcination and grading. It is especially suitable for exterior wall coatings, rubber, binder, ceramics
and other industries.
To expand kaolin's applications, surface modification techniques are often applied, creating enhanced
reactivity or tailored surface characteristics. Chemical modifications, such as acid or silane
treatments, can increase kaolin's compatibility with polymers and other matrix materials, boosting its
effectiveness as a filler in composite applications. Such modifications also enhance its hydrophobicity
or hydrophilicity as needed, allowing kaolin to perform better in specific environments, whether it's to
improve adhesion in coatings or to act as a moisture barrier. Modified kaolin finds unique applications
in high-performance adhesives, sealants, and specialized coatings, offering flexibility across a variety
of sectors.
