Physical Properties
Product Description
JD-80A by silane coupling agent surface treated calcined kaolin has a good compatibility with matrix,
dispersibility and high purity, specific surface area, chemical stability. It mainly used in
polyethylene, polyvinyl chloride, polypropylene, unsaturated polyester plastic, EPDA, special rubber,
partial substitution of the silica, to improve the mechanical properties, process rheological
properties, aging resistance, acid-alkaline resistance and electrical insulation properties of the
products.
Kaolin's high thermal stability makes it a valuable component in fire-resistant materials. When
subjected to high temperatures, kaolin does not release toxic fumes, which is critical for safety in
building materials and consumer products. In fire-resistant boards, insulation materials, and coatings,
kaolin helps to slow down the spread of flames and reduce the production of smoke. This characteristic
makes kaolin-based products ideal for use in construction materials, particularly in public buildings
and transportation sectors, where fire safety standards are stringent. By enhancing fire resistance,
kaolin contributes to safer materials that protect property and lives in fire-prone environments.
